This is no secret, our natural world is in crisis. The earth is warming at an unprecedented rate, oceans are being used as dumping grounds, forests destroyed, and entire species are being wiped out.
It’s simple, the health of our planet is non-negotiable. There is no crypto industry, no business, no life, no future without it.
We recognize as with any industry, that we have a significant role to play in safeguarding our planet and as a result, all of us who depend on it. Whilst crypto is still young, we’re constantly innovating and evolving to mitigate our impact on the environment – we are also committed to working with established partners to scale up current efforts.
Restoration: We want to work to restore the biodiversity that has disappeared at the hands of unsustainable human development. Our first environmental project, Protect Our Planet aims to do exactly that.
Awareness: We are not environmental experts ourselves and as our awareness grows, we want to share this with our community. Education and awareness is an important step in trying to solve complex enviro issues. As the great Sir David Attenbourgh says, “No one will protect what they don't care about.”
Collaboration: We know we’re stronger when working together so we want to work with the best, brightest and most determined minds to help play our role in protecting the planet. Our project execution partners are trusted and transparent organisations with strong local relationships. We know it’s vital to work alongside local communities to develop sustainable solutions that benefit the most impacted people, and we ensure our projects reflect this.
